An unusual attraction situated at Amners Farm is the miniature railway, known as the Amnerfield Miniature Railway.

We endeavour to run on all the above public running dates, subject to suitable weather conditions and the full availability of locomotives and crews.

Volunteers and Clubs
The team at Amnerfield are keen to recruit new members and do hold open days to host other clubs. Members of other clubs and societies are more than welcome to visit, but may only do so via prior arrangement. Please contact Sam at [email protected] for more information and terms and conditions.

Amnerfield railway opened  to the public in May of 1999. Since then, the railway has had many refinements and additions. Operated by an enthusiastic group of members who  lovingly look after  their engines and maintain the railway site, Amnerfield Railway attracts children and adults alike. 

The track which is approximately 3/4 of  a mile long, runs through part of the farm's pasture and woodland, providing a picturesque view of the farm.

Open to the public on our two Lambing Weekends, the railway makes an excellent day out for the family and can also be hired for birthday parties.
